SATC joined forces with the Hawai’i Coalition Against Sexual Assault (HCASA) and Shooter’s Film Production to produce a 9-minute educational film to highlight the high risk intersection between alcohol and sexual violence, and encourage bystander intervention.

The Sex Abuse Treatment Center (SATC) of Kapi’olani Medical Center for Women & Children is a statewide program that provides comprehensive services for survivors of sexual assault.

This 10-minute video features adult male survivors of sexual assault, the spouse of a male survivor, and treatment staff from The Sex Abuse Treatment Center.

In 1976, Kapiolani Medical Center for Women & Children and the State of Hawaii partnered to establish the Sex Abuse Treatment Center (SATC) as a safe place where survivors of sexual assault could go to receive comprehensive and confidential care.
