Active involvement and participation of families in decision-making play a crucial role in enhancing early childhood programs and attaining improved outcomes for both children and families. Ginger Knowles, a Parent Support Specialist at HPDBP and a mother of a deaf-blind son, will share her experiences. She aims to empower families to share their unique journeys and become advocates throughout early intervention, early childhood, school age, and the transition to adult life.
