Join mother and Parent Support Specialist Ginger Knowles as she guides parents through the Home Talk assessment tool for parents of children who are deaf blind and who have other disabilities. Its purpose is to help you participate in the planning of your child’s educational program. Home Talk can provide a broad picture of your child’s skills, special interests, and personality. Your assessment will be very helpful to members of your child’s educational team, such as teachers, therapists, special instructors, and aides, who may not know your child well or have the chance to observe your child outside of the school.
